In November 2022, a source informed People that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) actor has been seeing fellow actor Alba Baptista “for over a year and it’s serious,” adding, “They are in love and Chris has never been happier.” She is adored by everyone in his family and friends. A number of the most attractive ladies in Hollywood have dated Evans in the past.

His relationship with actor and comedian Jenny Slate, whom he met while filming “Gifted” in 2016, may have garnered the most attention. After less than a year, the couple broke up. “We don’t have a negative relationship, but we haven’t actually spoken or seen each other much. It’s arguably the finest, in my opinion. We had a really heated argument, but I’d love to be his buddy someday. But I have no regrets. Slate said to Vulture in 2017: “Ever.” To be very honest, I didn’t believe I suited him. Alba Baptista: 2021-present

Alba Baptista is a well-known Portuguese actress. She had been seeing Evans for almost a year before their relationship became public in November 2022. On November 10, 2022, photos released by Page Six appeared to corroborate the allegations, displaying the pair holding hands while strolling through Central Park.

The Avengers actor made Instagram official on January 6, 2023, with her in a Story (which expires after 24 hours), uploading a highlights reel of 2022 with footage of one terrifying the other as they enter a supposedly vacant room—which, by the way, is an Evans family favorite. Chris and his brother Scott have appeared in tons of videos on social media. Alba may or may not live with Chris, but they certainly seem to have spent a lot of time in his Boston house.

Having started her acting career in her native Portugal before making her English-language debut in the Netflix drama series Warrior Nun, Baptista is Evans’ 16-year-old sister. Additionally, she was in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris (2022). She is said to be fluent in five different languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, and German. It’s unknown how or where she originally connected with Evans, but keen-eyed admirers saw Evans following her on Instagram in 2020, and she reciprocated in 2021 when they were both filming in Europe.

The Avengers star has reportedly been hoping to get married for some time. During his interview for the title of “People’s Sexiest Man Alive” in 2022, Evans stated, “That’s obviously something I want: a wife, kids, and establishing a family.” “When you read about most of the finest artists, whether they are performers, painters, or authors, most of them [admit] it was about the connections: the families they established, the love they discovered, and the love they shared, [that they are most proud of] rather than the work they accomplished.” So, it’s something that has also been true over my lengthy 41 years, he continued. To be honest, this was a rumor at the time (and, assuming the Alba Baptista timetable is correct, it’s certainly simply hearsay). Fans believed Selena Gomez donned Evans’ renowned cable knit sweater from the film Knives Out in November 2021. Taylor Swift, Selena’s best friend, tweeted a TikTok video of them backstage at Saturday Night Live. When the camera pans to Selena, she may be seen wearing a white cable knit sweater identical to the one Chris wore in 2019’s Knives Out. “UHM WHY DOES SELENA’S SWEATER REMINISCE OF THAT KNIVES OUT SWEATER WORN BY CHRIS EVANS?” one Twitter user queried. “Oh my God, you guys, Selena’s wearing Chris Evans’ knives out of her sweatshirt,” said another. And thus the myth that Evans and Gomez were dating was created.

But it didn’t end there. On October 26, Chris shared an Instagram Story video of himself performing “Purple Rain” on the piano, and suspicions circulated that a brunette woman in the bottom left corner of the video was Selena. “Is that you, Selena?” TikTok user @girlgangz773 captioned a video repost. “Whose [sic] the brunette recording the bottom right corner, Chris?” asked the user.

Other users on TikTok commented that they “never noticed” that Chris had a companion in the video, while others revealed that the “person” was simply the piano lid. ” The piano lid is what it’s called. “You know what the device that covers the keyboard is,” one person said. Other users, though, were certain that someone was leaning on the piano. Another user pointed out that Selena “just chopped her hair,” so if it was her, her shorter bob would have been visible. Baptista, it turns out, is also a brunette. Could she have been the one?

Jenny Slate: 2016–2017

Jenny Slate was Chris Evans’ most public relationship, as previously stated. Because of the strain and attention, the relationship barely lasted a little more than a year.
