José Trinidad Marn was born in Mexico on February 15, 1964, as opposed to Jenni Rivera, who was born in the United States to immigrants from Mexico. His family affectionately gave him the moniker “Trino” throughout his formative years in his native country. Jose maintained his studies after the family relocated to the United States.
Before setting out to earn a living, he could have finished high school. In order to support himself, the young José took on a number of odd occupations. Marn never was able to establish a reliable profession; instead, he worked in a variety of fields, including the hospitality sector, where he eventually attained the position of restaurant manager.

Jose Marn and Jenni Rivera didn’t have much to their names and most likely experienced difficult financial issues given their age and the circumstances of their marriage. Later, when José started physically and emotionally assaulting his wife, things grew worse. The violence was mostly motivated by his desire for his wife to leave education and essentially become a stay-at-home mother for the children. When she declined such an offer, he turned to physical and mental abuse on her in order to get his way.
With four brothers growing up, Rivera occasionally retaliated. She made an effort to cope, but eventually it all got to be too much for her, and she made two suicide attempts. Fortunately, her efforts were unsuccessful, and she had the guts to file for divorce in 1992. Naturally, the small girl was so terrified by this that she kept quiet for a while. The abuse that Rosie experienced continued after Rivera subsequently divorced José in 1992.
He took advantage of the fact that she frequently had to bring the couple’s kids, Chiquis and Jacquie, to see their father by harassing her. Additionally, when Chiquis was just 8 years old in 1993, he began assaulting her. Jose also threatened to hurt Chiquis if she betrayed him to anybody, as was his typical tactic. The little girl didn’t say anything, and her father didn’t stop hitting her until she told one of his girlfriends that she had begun her period. In all, José Trinidad Marn molested his sister-in-law and oldest daughter from 1988 until Rosie had the guts to tell Jenni about it in 1997.
Jenni, who was obviously distraught, called law enforcement right away. After learning from their research that José had also mistreated Jackie, his younger daughter, they started looking for him seriously. Jose Marn left Long Beach and moved to Riverside County, California, after realizing the game was over. There, he adopted a new identity and began a brand-new life. He eluded capture for over ten years before being found in April 2006. He was accused of several charges, including severe sexual abuse of a kid under 14, persistent sexual abuse of a minor, and child rape.
Months of the trial were spent with José Martin adamantly defending himself. His attorney claimed that his ex-wife had planned the entire event as a publicity gimmick to boost her budding career. Jose Marn was ultimately found guilty of around eight charges after what was undoubtedly a highly emotional trial. José Trinidad Marn has been imprisoned in California for more than ten years now after being found guilty of molesting his own children. He is now reputed to be a kind man and a devout Christian who regularly studies his Bible. Jose has submitted two requests for release to the jail administration, but none of them have been granted. He wasn’t given parole in 2018, despite speculations to the contrary. The three people José Trinidad Marn hurt the most have forgiven him, which is a wonderful thing.
